All of these eero routers are the same, the only difference is WiFi 6 and WiFi 6E support. As well as coverage area. So the eero 6+ and eero 6 both support WiFi 6 (not WiFi 6E), with the plus models supporting a larger area. So if you have a larger home, it’s better to splurge for the eero 6+. The eero Pro 6E actually supports WiFi 6E (which uses the 6GHz band). That’s going to allow for much faster speeds, and less traffic on that band since there’s far fewer devices that support it right now. The eero Pro 6E also supports faster speeds, which includes gigabit. About 1.6Gbps over wireless and around 2.5Gbps over the Ethernet port. Which is pretty impressive here. eero makes it easy to setup and use a mesh WiFi network in your home. One of the main advantages to having a mesh network is the ability to have more and more smart home devices on your network, without them slowing down the network. Mesh is also able to intelligently move devices between the 2.4GHz, 5GHz and 6GHz bands. This way your laptop isn’t stuck on the 2.4GHz band which is going to be slower, but offer more coverage. Instead, it can be on the 5GHz or 6GHz band and get much faster speeds.
