Let’s start with the Galaxy Z Flip cases. As you might expect, the protective cases for this clamshell folding phone come in two separate pieces. They leave the hinge area uncovered when the device is folded. However, Samsung is offering a couple of options where you get a little bit of protection over that area. One of the cases has a ring attached to it while another has a hook with a strap (see images below). These two cases cover a portion of the thing area as well. But that’s not their primary purpose. Samsung is offering the ring or hook with the cases so you can attach the device to a lanyard and wear it around your neck. You could also use the ring to lug your Galaxy Z Flip 3 around. As for color options, you have White, Blue, Black, Purple, Yellow, and several others to choose from. Not all variants might be available with that ring or hook though. Some of the Galaxy Z Flip 3 cases may come with a textured surface as well. You can check them all out in the gallery below.
Galaxy Z Fold 3 leaked protective cases
The case options for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 are as wide too. There aren’t any hooks or rings here (Fold is anyways too heavy to lug around or wear around the neck) but if you plan to buy the S Pen, you do get a special case to store it. This particular case covers the thing area as well. The rest is all standard stuff. You get two separate pieces for either side. One covers half of the backside of the phone where the camera array sits. The other covers the edges around the secondary display. Cutouts for the earpiece, volume controls, power button, and the USB Type-C port can be seen. We are now just two days away from the official unveiling of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Galaxy Z Flip 3. A mountain of leaks over the past few months have given us a fair idea of what to expect from the new Samsung foldables.
