T-Mobile will start selling the Galaxy S21 FE 5G on January 11. The device will also be sold via the Sprint and Metro by T-Mobile brands. As for the promotion, you can get the new Samsung smartphone for free, provided you have an eligible device to trade in through Sprint MAX or Magenta MAX. This is a discount of around $700. Sprint and T-Mobile users can avail up to $400 off in the form of 24 monthly bill credits while trading an eligible device on any plan. Customers can also get the second Galaxy S21 FE 5G for free (with 24 monthly bill credits) when adding a new line. Lastly, subscribers of Metro by T-Mobile are eligible to receive $260 off on Samsung’s latest offering via instant rebate if they switch and verify their ID on a qualifying plan. On a related note, the Samsung Galaxy A13 5G is also launching on Metro, with Sprint and T-Mobile following later.

The Galaxy S21 FE on T-Mobile supports Ultra Capacity 5G and Extended Range 5G frequencies

T-Mobile said in a release (via Phone Arena) that both phones will support the carrier’s Ultra Capacity 5G and Extended Range 5G frequencies. The Galaxy S21 FE 5G is a rehashed version of last year’s Galaxy S21. As we all know already, the phone was supposed to launch sometime in the middle of 2021. However, there was an industry-wide scarcity of semiconductors, leading to the postponement of multiple devices. But the phone is finally here, and we have the full picture. The newest Samsung smartphone brings a 6.4-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen with a 120Hz display refresh rate. Additionally, the Galaxy S21 FE 5G offers three rear cameras comprising a 12-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera, and an 8-megapixel telephoto sensor. There’s a 32-megapixel hole-punch selfie camera on the front panel. Customers will also find the octa-core Snapdragon 888 chipset backed by 6 or 8GB of RAM. Users have the option between 128GB and 256GB of internal storage. Unfortunately, Samsung doesn’t offer a microSD card slot with the Galaxy S21 FE. Lastly, a 4,500mAh battery keeps the device ticking, complemented by 25W fast wired charging. The device also supports 15W fast charging and reverse wireless charging.
